ITG Shower

We had our first baby shower on Thursday. I loved it!



My great friends from work (International Textile Group) organized everything- Stephanie, Ericka, Angela



Matt came back from Raleigh for the party



We were outside at the Village Tavern



It was such a pretty day!



We got tons of great stuff!



The best part!! My boss, Maurice, and one of our consultants from Ernst & Young, Joe, performed. Maurice sang a song about me set to the tune of Ole Suzanne while Joe accompanied him on the banjo. So fun!

Rebecca Elizabeth Rogers

We've officially picked out a name! After convincing Matt Sabanette Bearcub might not be the best option, we chose Rebecca Elizabeth. Rebecca because it's my mom's name (and my granny's name and my name). And Elizabeth because it's Matt's mom's name (and his granny's name and sister's name). I really like it! We're planning on calling her Rebecca although lately Matt and I have been calling her Reba. Let's hope that doesn't stick...

20 Weeks

I felt the baby kick for the first time this weekend! It's so neat, like the tiniest little fluttering.

We had a great weekend! Of coarse I didn't take any pictures. We spent the night in Mooresville on Saturday with some great friends and spent the day in Elkin on Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day with Matt's mom and grannies.

It's a Girl!

Yes!! I knew it! The baby weighs 10 ounces and everything looks good. We're so excited!

Drum Roll Please

Tomorrow I have an ultra sound and we hope to find out the sex of the baby. Exciting! Matt thinks we're having a boy and I think we're having a girl. I've only had one dream about it and in it I found out I was having a girl. The dream was just me at a fancy convenience store buying all the pink things I could find. What? And two of my friends have told me they have a feeling I'm having a girl. And the Chinese calender and worthless on-line quiz I took today both also said I'm having a girl. It's certain.
In other news, I went to Mobile this weekend to visit my mom and sister. My mom didn't know I was coming and she was totally surprised. It was so much fun!
