27- Funny Honey

Rebecca is 27 Weeks!



She has been cracking us up lately! Chewing on toys with no hands, laughing, waving her arms around like a crazy girl. So funny!



Here she is sleeping. Oh don't worry, just her normal squished into the corner of her crib with her booty in the air. We put her to sleep on her back but she almost always flips over. She is a pretty good sleeper these days. She'll usually go down between 7-8 and wake up between 5-6.




Rebecca and Sarah. Over the weekend we went to Birmingham to spend the night with our friends. We watched some basketball and had a great meal. It was so much fun!

26- Rice Cereal

Rebecca is 6 months! I can not believe I have a 6 month old! The time flies.



She is growing and changing everyday. She has just started getting excited for things. She'll wave her arms and squeak when you go to get her out of her carrier. So cute!



We have had a good week! Pretty much just relaxing and hanging out.



We had friends over to watch basketball and grill out on Saturday. My mom and I filled out a bracket while I was in Colorado and we are currently 14 out of 20. Not shocking.



We tired rice cereal again this week and Rebecca seems to like it this time.



Such a happy girl!

25- Colorado

Rebecca is 25 Weeks!



We just got back from Colorado and we had the best time! I was a little worried about Rebecca's first plane trip but she did great. On the plane Matt would hold her up above his head and she would smile at everyone around her. Such a charmer!



Grandma and Pops could not get enough of this little girl. It was such a big week for her. Playing with toys, Tupperware, going for walks and visiting Pops at work. So much fun!!



Rebecca wasn't really into trying to adjust to the time difference so we got to watch the sunrise each morning. Beautiful.



While we were there Rebecca got her first case of pink eye. Gross! My mom and I took her to urgent care and got in and out pretty quickly (Rebecca officially weighs 16 pounds 4 ounces). We then had an extra fun time at the nearly everything store/pharmacy and Rebecca's ointment worked great.



Matt and I got to go skiing at Beaver Creek. It was so much fun! The weather was great and we even got some fresh snow the second day.



Thanks Grandma and Pops! We miss you already!!

24- On the Move

Rebecca is 24 weeks!



This week was Dr. Suess week at school and each day had a theme. Here is Rebecca on crazy sock day (Fox in Socks).



We tried rice cereal this week! Rebecca pretty much hated it. She would not just spit it out, but arch her back in her seat to try to get away from the spoon. We decided to wait a few more weeks to try it again...



Here she is playing with us in the morning. She is so animated! She is really becoming more like a toddler than a newborn baby. When she plays with her toys her movements are much more deliberate now. We have really seen her little personality come out over the last week or so. It's so much fun!

We've had a good weekend! Just hanging around and enjoying our time together.



Highlights include finishing our taxes.



And meeting friends for lunch today (the historic first day for alcohol sales on Sunday in Tuscaloosa).



And Check this out! I went into our office to talk to Matt for one minute and came back to find Rebecca like this. She is on the move!!

23- Oma and Papa

Rebecca is 23 weeks!



This week Matt's parents came down from North Carolina for a visit. It was great!



On Saturday we went to Moundville and learned about the Mississippian Indians.



We had a picnic on the Black Warrior River.

Here she is peeking out at me on the way home from Moundville. I put a blanket over her carrier to try to encourage her to take a nap in the car but she kept peeking out and smiling. So cute!



On Sunday we went to Church. I love Rebecca in this outfit!



When we got home we had a little photo shoot. Me and Rebecca.
