Big News

Rebecca!

We had such a fun weekend! Rebecca and I went up to Virginia Thursday night to visit with my granny and mom. I know Matt missed us but I think he enjoyed his weekend of being a bachelor- including a spend the night party Friday night. :)

Teeny came up for the weekend!! And we also got to see Aunt Anne and Uncle John.



Yes, I am pregnant! We are so excited!! Kind of surprised, but so excited. It took a while for me to get pregnant with Rebecca and I liked to say that getting pregnant is not as easy as they make it out to be in health class. Apparently, it is.

And Christina is preganant, too!! She is due July 15th, one month before me. So fun! I can't wait for the cousins to play together.

A Big Week

We have had a big week!

Grandma came to visit! Rebecca loved it! She is visiting with my granny this week in Blacksburg and we're going up this weekend. I can't wait!

I went to NYC for Mary Martha's fun girls weekend and had a great time!



And it snowed last night!

We had a good week! Okay, two weeks. I maybe a little behind on my blogging...We went up to Elkin last weekend to visit with Matt's family and pick up some furniture.



Rebecca playing her new piano. She loves it. You can't really tell but she's wearing one glove in this picture. Also loves this.



We watched the Superbowl with our friends, Andrew and Elizabeth's. Rebecca danced through the entire half-time show. She really gave Madonna a run for her money. :)



Water baby. Rebecca is still going to swimming lessons on Saturdays at the Y. She's getting really good at moving down the side of the pool by holding on to the ledge. She'll put her face in the water but will drink it instead of blow bubbles. We're working on this.



This weekend we got a new van! I'm so excited!!



Here we are at Carmax. We had a really positive experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Zerberts!



We've had a good week and I have absolutly no pictures of anything. On Saturday Matt's parents kept Rebecca and Matt and I met some friends for dinner at Sweet Potatoes. Great food and very fun times! We got a lot of work done organizing our house on Sunday (but still have a long, long ways to go) and had Matt's mom and sister over for supper Sunday night. When we were loading Rebecca's into Oma's van on Saturday we were telling her how much fun she was going to have in Elkin, going to church, etc. and she interupted us with a big wave and BYE! I guess she was ready to go. :)



Rebecca is as cute as ever. I'm sure I will grow to hate it one day but she has just started saying no and it is the cutest thing ever. She will put up her point finger and shake it left and right and no, no, no, no, no. no.

We've had a fun week! Our friends, the Robinsons, came over for supper on Friday. Rebecca and Elexa had a good time literally running around and screaming at each other.



On Saturday we went to the NC State/Wake Forest game.



State won! I think we spent more time walking Rebecca around the colisium than watching the game but it was still fun.



Just sweeping out my toy bin. Of coarse I don't have any pictures, but Rebecca has really gotten good at sign lanuage lately. She can say more (which I think she thinks means food), all done, thank you and we're working on help. Thank you is espcially cute because she always says it with a big smile.

Swimming Lessons

We've had a big week! Rebecca started swimming lessons at the YMCA. She's so little it's really more like a mommy and me class in the water. Rebecca really seemed to like it!

In other news, Alabama won the National Championship and our friend Jarrett Joyce became a reality TV star. His show, Shipping Wars, aired Tuesday on A&E. Exciting!

New Year, New House

We bought a house! I am so excited to be living in Winston and only 5-10 minutes from work.



We're starting to get settled but still have a long, long ways to go.



This weekend we went to Elkin for Christmas round two because Matt's older sisiter and her family were here. We had a great time!



Matt parents kept Rebecca for us Saturday night and Matt and I went out to a fancy dinner for New Year's. This is how we found her on Sunday. Matt loved it.
