Disney

Rebecca!

We just got back from Disney World!

It was so much fun!!

I thought it would be fun to go because the girls would enjoy it but didn't really expect to enjoy it so much myself.

We stayed at the Art of Animation hotel. It's the cheapest place to stay at Disney (one of my friends likes to call it the Myrtle Beach of Disney World). There were definitely some tatted up people staying there but it was perfectly fine. Everything was new and bright.

There was a Finding Nemo playground

And swimming pool!

We spent the first day at Magic Kingdom and got to meet so many princesses

Here we are at Enchanted Tales with Belle. So cute!

The next day we went to Hollywood Studios and saw the Disney Jr. Live show

Rode Toy Story Midway Mania (my favorite ride of the whole trip!)

Had lunch with the Disney Junior characters

And sang in the Frozen sing-a-long!

The next day we went back to Magic Kingdom and met Ariel

And rode It's a Small World. When we got done Rebecca said, "That was very, very awesome!"

We rode the monorail to the Contemporary and had lunch at Chef Mickey's

Pretty girl. I packed pipe cleaners for the girls to play with while we were riding the bus and waiting and in line and they turned out to be a huge hit.

Roger's eyes! That night we got Dole Whips. These were also a huge hit.

The next day we went to Epcot

So pretty! We got so lucky and had great weather all week

We had lunch with the princesses at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Went on a scavenger hunt with Agent P

And got snacks for super from all around the world. Here we are in Morocco. I didn't get any pictures but we also stayed for the fireworks.

Such a fun trip!

Raven Knob

Laura!

We've been doing good! We got to celebrate Granny Foda's birthday/family reunion. Rebecca played bingo for the first time at the party and loved it!! Laura won the grand prize.

BFFs! Camden and Alison came up for the day over their spring break

We documented how tall everyone was. It won't be long before Laura catches Rebecca

We have been loving the spring time weather!

Matt took the girls to Raven Knob and they hiked all the way to the top!

Superheros! The other morning Laura said she loved Ms. Sunni and thought we should get her a present, like a new computer. I said I wasn't too sure about that, computers are pretty expensive. Laura said, "Ok! We can get her a new toothbrush!"

Easter

Laura!

We spent the weekend with the Stimpsons at Choctaw Bluff!

We hunted eggs

Fed the horses

And decorated cookies!

The Easter bunny came!

And Matt killed a turkey! A little bit crazy because this was the first time Matt had ever been turkey hunting.

Happy Easter! Sand's Aunt Pam lead a church service on Easter morning

Sweet Jim - so good to see this little cutie!!

Before we left for Alabama Matt and I got to go to a dinner for the Prime Minister of Estonia

Last weekend we got to go to Blacksburg to visit with my mom and granny!

The girls got haircuts at Great Clips after the snip-its closed. It was a sad day when we pulled up and snip-its had turned into a chinese restaurant.

Breakfast feast!

The weekend before last I went on a women's retreat and Matt put the tent up in the basement so he and the girls could "camp"

Cousins!

Power Outage

Rebecca!

Sweet girl has had a rough time. She had a virus that just seemed to last forever.

She's finally started to feel better. This weekend I told her when her nose itched it meant someone was thinking of her. A little bit later she came up to me and said, "Mama that is not true. I just sat down beside Laura and thought about her and she did not scratch her nose." Cutie.

The picture Laura drew of herself when she is very angry. Accurate.

Here she is today for Wacky Wednesday, Dr. Seuss's birthday celebration at school. This was definitely Laura's time to shine.

"Mom! See how tall I am compared to this tree!"

Last week we had a big storm and lost power. There were so many games and puzzles and dance shows. By the second day we went to Yadkinville to stay with Matt's mom. Thank you Oma!! The power came back on at 9pm that night and I wasn't here to check on any of our food before it froze back so it all had to go. I'd made so many healthy freezer meals it was a little heart breaking. And power was out at daycare so it was closed and Matt was working in Portland that week. Cray.

What else? We had Oma and Granny Maire down for a visit

Discovered a new park

Had the Brown girls over for a visit - and got to meet their new baby brother Wyatt!

Cheese!
