Halloween

Rebecca!

Monday was Halloween! Rebecca was Sheriff Callie and Laura was an Alabama Cheerleader. Roll Tide! We went to a neighborhood potluck then trick or treating. It was really fun. They girls made it all the way around the block.

Sunday Oma came over and we carved pumpkins

Beautiful!

Family picture! October has been really warm and we are loving it!

Last week Christina had her baby! Barrett Miller Stimpson. So precious!! I can not wait to hold this sweet boy!

Last week was also dance showcase

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

And laura got to dress up for s fall festival at school! She styled this look all by herself

Last weekend Matt and I went to Tuscaloosa for the Alabama/A&M game. It was so much fun!!

The girls went camping with their Oma and didn't miss us one bit. Thank you so much Oma!

The weekend before last we went to the corn maze!!

Laura got completely buried in corn haha!

Such a fun day with all the cousins!

Afterwards we went back to Oma's house for cupcakes- Happy Birthday Oma!

And the weekend before that was my birthday - OMG how long has it been since I last updated this blog?

I have been running the clothing closet at church and Matt surprised me by having all our friends come to church on Saturday to get things organized. It was the best birthday!

Combs Racing South

Laura!

We had such a big weekend!

We met the Robinsons at the fair!

There were rides

And butterflies (I'm pretty sure Laura wore her dress backwards all day)

And magic!

We celebrated Aunt Pearl's 100th birthday! When I told the girls what we were going to be doing Laura said, "100?! So, is she a giant?!"

And we went to Hickory to watch our friend Cody race!

I don't know how they could do it without being able to hear but the girls had a great time playing with their friends.

Victory circle!! Cody got third place!

Birthday book! You can make a donation to the library at Rebecca's school during your birthday month and they'll put a stick with your name and the year in the front of a book. Last week Rebecca checked out one of Ariel's! On Monday she came home and  said, "Thursday is a special day at school, picture day, and you can wear your normal clothes or dress up. So, I want to be Elsa!" I explained that by dress up I think her teacher meant wear church clothes. :)

We are loving this Fall weather!

Everything Else

Laura!

This girl is a mess! She's still into picking out her own outfits for school

And the other day she found a pair of snow pants and just started wearing them around. Crazy.

We have been super busy lately so I'm super behind on my blogging. I'm actually on my way home and super glad for a two hour layover and free wifi at the airport in Detroit. Time to catch up. The girls got their faces painted at the back to school social at church!

Matt and I got to go to the Wyndham and had a great time! La cheeserie!

Art

The girls started school!!

Rebecca is now officially a kindergartner! School is serious business these days and having to be somewhere on time in the mornings is no joke. It's definitely been more of a transition than I expected but Rebecca is doing great!

The girls have also started dance!

We went to the lake for Labor Day!

There was an intense game of crazy eights

But mostly we just watched football and played in the water

It still doesn't feel like fall but it's starting to cool off a little bit. We had the best day at the park last weekend!

This weekend I got to go to Minnesota and meet this precious angel!

So good to see old friends!

Destin

Rebecca!

We went to Destin and had the best time!!

We jumped on furniture

Swam in the pool

And (Sands favorite) played on the beach!

We also celebrated all the cousin's birthdays

And conducted a blind burbon taste test

So beautiful!! Thank you for having us Christina and Sands!
