A Fun Weekend and Thanksgiving

Rebecca!

Last weekend Andy Webb came to visit!

He looks identical to the dad in "My First Halloween". It's creepy.

Matt, Andy and Andrew went to the State game on Saturday. They really beat Clemson. Go Pack!

Rebecca and I headed to Mt. Pilot for lunch with Joan, Al, Maria, Mandy, Camden, Alison, Jane, Granny Foda, Jenny and Russel. We pretty much took over the restaurant. So fun! Camden was cracking Rebecca up the entire time.

After all the fun Rebecca was zonked!

Swinging with Matt

The next week Grandma and Pops came to visit from Colorado.

We drove up to Virginia to celebrate thanksgiving. So great to see everyone! Don't worry, we picked up Christina and Sands along the way so there were 7 of us in the mini van. And ps, I spent the week in workout clothes because although I packed a suitcase, Matt didn't put it in the van. In his defense, I went to work in the morning, left it in a closet and didn't tell him about it. Still, this was not awesome.

We spent the first two days in Blacksburg with my mom's side of the family. Thanks so much Aunt Anne for having all of us!!

Rebecca and Pops

We spent the next two days in Woodstock with my Dad's side of the family.

Bowling!! A Morgan Family tradition.

The kids table at Grandma's.

Such a mess!

Early Thanksgiving

Upside down Rebecca!

This is what Rebecca really thought of getting her picture made on Sunday.

We had a great weekend! All of Matt's family was in town. It was so great to see everyone!

Rebecca "sharing" Alison's stool

Multitasking

Two quick notes on Rebecca. She is super into reading lately. And really hates getting her fingernails cut. You would think I was pulling them off of her fingers instead of just trimming them with clippers.

Yogurt

Rebecca!

This is Sunday after the Alabama/LSU game. Matt's parents kept Rebecca for us Saturday night and I packed this outfit for Rebecca thinking she would look so cute in her hounds tooth after Alabama's big win. Matt and I went to Mooresville to watch the game with our friends Mat and Kelly. So sad.

Besides the game we've had a fun week with nothing too exciting to report.

Just sitting on my dad's computer, singing into my microphone.

I gave Rebecca her own yogurt cup at supper one night this week and she loved it! She was covered from head to toe. She started out with a spoon but once she realized how delicious her yogurt was she couldn't be bothered.

Ready to go! In the mornings Rebecca will get her coat and stand by the door to let us know she is ready to go. We don't know if it's because she really likes school or knows she'll get her second breakfast once she gets there.

Cheese!!

Halloween

Rebecca on Halloween!

We had big plans for recycling Rebecca's Alabama cheerleader outfit for Halloween but Monday was so cold and Rebecca had a cold (still does) so we decided not to go trick or treating. Matt came home early from work and we played and handed out candy so it turned out to be a really fun night even without dressing up.

As you can see Rebecca got her first big boo boo this week. She did header off the couch on the the ottoman. Poor thing! She only cried for about 30 seconds and was fine.

The pumpkins we carved.

It has finally gotten colder here and we all immediately got colds. I got some zinc melt a way tablets and oh my gosh they work! I started feeling better after two days!!

Rebecca and Elexa! We got to keep Elexa last night while her parents went out to dinner. She was an angel! The girls really played well together.

In the bath! So fun!!

Tuscaloosa

Rebecca!

This weekend we sold our house! We went down to Tuscaloosa and closed on Friday. Everything went fine. It is so great to have that behind us!

We stayed the weekend with our friends Kelsey and Clark. We really enjoyed see them again and visiting with everyone in the PhD program.

Rebecca tailgating before the Tennessee game.

Kelsey and Clark kept Rebecca while Matt and I went to the game with our friends Andy and Sarah. Our seats were great! We had a great time!! Sarah would not believe me that me and two of my friends once started the wave at an Alabama football game. We did. And it went around 5 times.

On Sunday we stopped on the way home to visit with friends in Birmingham and have brunch at Byron's. So great to see everyone again!

A new tooth and a new job

So cute!

We have really enjoyed the play ground at our apartment! The weather has been so nice lately. I love the fall!

In Rebecca news, our little cutie has a new tooth. Finally!

She did great at her one year check up. She is in the 80th percentile for height and 20th percentile for for weight.

It is hard to believe she is only in the 20th percentile for weight, she has a HEALTHY appetite. Here she is dismayed that I am trying to give her broccoli when all she wants is more yeast rolls.

In mama news, I got a job! I started last Wednesday as a tax accountant at BB&T. I'm still getting settled but I really like it so far.

The weekend before last was my birthday. Here are the awesome presents Matt got me. We went to see the Avett Brothers in Greensboro at the amphitheater. So much fun!

This weekend was Miss Joan's birthday. We went to Elkin for church and for lunch to celebrate.

We spent Saturday watching college football with the Bentons. Roll Tide!

More words, a new baby and Vegas

Rebecca running around outside!

Playing with her exersaucer.

She is such a big girl! I know I say that every week but she is constantly changing and I just can't ever get over it. She has now started saying eyes and uh-oh. So smart! She'll also say hi when she picks up our phones. She likes to pretend pretty much anything is a cell phone- including her baby doll.

We really enjoyed watching football all day last Saturday. Alabama beat Arkansas- Roll Tide!

We also got to visit with our friends Chrissy and Jason and meet their beautiful new baby girl, Marylou. Precious!

This weekend was my cousin Andrew's wedding- in Vegas!! Rebecca spent the weekend with her Aunt Maria, soon-to-be Uncle Joseph and Oma and Papa. We really missed her but she did great! Here are Matt and I at the wedding ceremony ceremony at Cesar's Palace.

I had never been to Las Vegas before and it was to fun to go with my whole family. Christina on the Strip.

The cousins! We're all close in age and grew up going to the beach together. So strange to see everyone all grown up.

And the most fun night of all! Black jack in the food court- oh yeah!! Winner's all around!
