Update

We're good! Matt finished up his math class last week (and made an A!) and the fall semester has officially started. There are students everywhere! I guess I should have expected this but still, it's kind of nuts. I'm still working from home and getting settled in. I've pretty much gotten all of the baby stuff in order and all I really have left is decorating the nursery. I'll post pictures as soon as it's done.

We had a really fun weekend! We spent Friday in Montgomery with our friends Beau and Brittany and their family. We went out to dinner then they had friends over for drinks. On Saturday we loaded up with tons of baby gear their boys had outgrown (AMAZING Matt was able to fit everything in the car) and headed to Birmingham.



Beau and Gaines before we left. Beau and I look like we just woke up- because we did and Gaines is really pumped up about getting his picture taken. He really is a cutie pie but this is the only picture we got at the Daniels.

In Birmingham we stayed with our friends, Chris and Ashley. The boys played golf and the girls spent the day shopping and getting pedicures. Saturday night we had a Mexican fiesta for Chris's 30th birthday.



I know this picture is not exactly top quality, (it was taken with Matt's cell phone) but you get the idea. Happy Birthday, Chris!!

Stone Mountain and First House Guests

We did get some good pictures at Stone Mountain, I don't know how I forgot. We had a great time! It was so nice to see everyone before we left.

It was so pretty! Super hot but we managed to stay cool in the shade.

Matt's mom, sister and her children stayed with us on Thursday night. It was great to have them! Mandy and her family had been in NC for vacation and were on their way back to Dallas. Tuscaloosa is about half way so they stopped to stay with us.

We made it!



The house with a new roof and a little bit of landscaping (we have a ways to go with the landscaping). The big trees are great for shade.



Matt loaded everything we own into this 26 foot trailer and moved it down to Tuscaloosa. We are starting to get settled, I am currently on an organizing rampage.

My last day of work was last Friday, Matt's parents had a family reunion/cookout on Saturday (at Stone Mountain Park- it was great! I wish I had taken some pictures!!), we drove down on Sunday and Matt started class on Monday. I think school is going well for him, it's just really intense. He's taking some kind of mathematical economics something over three weeks when the class is usually offered over 16 weeks. But only a week and half to go! Fall semester starts September 18th. I'm continuing to work for ITG from Alabama. It's going well so far, just kind of crazy working and trying to get settled all at the same time. I've found a doctor I really like and birthing classes start tonight- Pregnancy in the 3rd Trimester and Breathing and Relaxation Techniques.




We're really enjoying being back in Tuscaloosa but the heat is taking some getting used to. It's so hot!
