Christmas

Just sitting in the fridge

Ira and Rebecca both just waking up

Anyways, it was Christmas! We spent the weekend in Elkin with Matt's family.

Rebecca didn't really "get" Christmas this year but loved opening presents and playing in her new tent. She also loved all the treats. Of course there was tons of great food everywhere we went and plenty of people willing to share with her. She loves bread and I think ate about 30 rolls this weekend.

Rebecca and Cousin Cloe. So cute!

Here we are at Granny Marie's. Rebecca had the best time putting her entire arms in wrapping paper tubes and swinging them around like her arms were 3 feet long.

On Monday we visited with the Yarboro's. These boys were so sweet with Rebecca and really great sharers.

I love this picture. This week Rebecca started trying to drink milk out of a real cup and this is the result. Such a mess!

Christmas Parties

Rebecca and Maria!

We have had a big week! Oma, Papa, Maria and Joesph stopped by for a visit on their way to the UNC/App game.

Rebecca had a Christmas party at school. It was so fun to see her with all of her classmates. Today when I picked her up, her teacher said that she flopped down on the bean bags beside one of the little boys in her class and gave him kisses and twirled his hair. Cute! Really, I'm just glad she didn't try to bite him.

We also went to Matt's work's kid's Christmas party. It was awesome!

Here is Rebecca on the dance floor. She warmed up got her grove on.

Here she is checking out Santa. She was totally fine with him until I tried to put her in his lap.

Maybe next year :)

Cheerio.

Jaws

Rebecca!

Our friends the Robinsons kept Rebecca for us while Matt and I went to his office Christmas party on Friday. It was very fun! Normal wedding reception type Christmas party but with a 20 person band, including dancing ladies and a confetti gun. Kind of awesome.

The rest of the weekend we hung around here.

Rebecca has started trying to wink for us this week. Of coarse she can't do it but she'll squint and blink her eyes when she tries. It's so cute!! She has also started biting when she get frustrated. Not so cute. We're working on this.

Fun times!

Hi!

Rebecca in the bath!

Christmas time! I was planning on just slacking on getting a tree this year since we're in our apartment and this is probably my last year of coasting before Rebecca starts getting really into Christmas. But while we were at my Grandma's over Thanksgiving Rebecca loved her tree so I had to get one too. I kind of love it.

Rebecca currently has a yeast rash and an ear infection in her right ear. I hate it for her but it doesn't seem to be bothering her too bad.

She has really gotten into saying hi and bye the last few days. It's really cute! I get a big hi everyday I pick her up from daycare and she'll say bye to me when I lay her down to sleep at night. :)

Belly! Rebecca is also into pointing out her belly and mine. She spent the night with her Oma and Papa on Saturday and started saying Papa and ball. So smart! Matt and I had fun watching the SEC championship with our new friends Will and Robin and getting ALL of our Christmas shopping done.

A Fun Weekend and Thanksgiving

Rebecca!

Last weekend Andy Webb came to visit!

He looks identical to the dad in "My First Halloween". It's creepy.

Matt, Andy and Andrew went to the State game on Saturday. They really beat Clemson. Go Pack!

Rebecca and I headed to Mt. Pilot for lunch with Joan, Al, Maria, Mandy, Camden, Alison, Jane, Granny Foda, Jenny and Russel. We pretty much took over the restaurant. So fun! Camden was cracking Rebecca up the entire time.

After all the fun Rebecca was zonked!

Swinging with Matt

The next week Grandma and Pops came to visit from Colorado.

We drove up to Virginia to celebrate thanksgiving. So great to see everyone! Don't worry, we picked up Christina and Sands along the way so there were 7 of us in the mini van. And ps, I spent the week in workout clothes because although I packed a suitcase, Matt didn't put it in the van. In his defense, I went to work in the morning, left it in a closet and didn't tell him about it. Still, this was not awesome.

We spent the first two days in Blacksburg with my mom's side of the family. Thanks so much Aunt Anne for having all of us!!

Rebecca and Pops

We spent the next two days in Woodstock with my Dad's side of the family.

Bowling!! A Morgan Family tradition.

Such a mess!

Early Thanksgiving

Upside down Rebecca!

This is what Rebecca really thought of getting her picture made on Sunday.

We had a great weekend! All of Matt's family was in town. It was so great to see everyone!

Rebecca "sharing" Alison's stool

Multitasking

Two quick notes on Rebecca. She is super into reading lately. And really hates getting her fingernails cut. You would think I was pulling them off of her fingers instead of just trimming them with clippers.

Yogurt

Rebecca!

This is Sunday after the Alabama/LSU game. Matt's parents kept Rebecca for us Saturday night and I packed this outfit for Rebecca thinking she would look so cute in her hounds tooth after Alabama's big win. Matt and I went to Mooresville to watch the game with our friends Mat and Kelly. So sad.

Besides the game we've had a fun week with nothing too exciting to report.

Just sitting on my dad's computer, singing into my microphone.

I gave Rebecca her own yogurt cup at supper one night this week and she loved it! She was covered from head to toe. She started out with a spoon but once she realized how delicious her yogurt was she couldn't be bothered.

Ready to go! In the mornings Rebecca will get her coat and stand by the door to let us know she is ready to go. We don't know if it's because she really likes school or knows she'll get her second breakfast once she gets there.

Cheese!!

Halloween

Rebecca on Halloween!

We had big plans for recycling Rebecca's Alabama cheerleader outfit for Halloween but Monday was so cold and Rebecca had a cold (still does) so we decided not to go trick or treating. Matt came home early from work and we played and handed out candy so it turned out to be a really fun night even without dressing up.

As you can see Rebecca got her first big boo boo this week. She did header off the couch on the the ottoman. Poor thing! She only cried for about 30 seconds and was fine.

The pumpkins we carved.

It has finally gotten colder here and we all immediately got colds. I got some zinc melt a way tablets and oh my gosh they work! I started feeling better after two days!!

Rebecca and Elexa! We got to keep Elexa last night while her parents went out to dinner. She was an angel! The girls really played well together.

In the bath! So fun!!
