5 Weeks

Rebecca is five weeks and one day old today!



Sunday was our first day without company since Rebecca was born and somehow I didn't get around to updating the blog yesterday. I am still amazed at how my days fly by.

We had a great week!



My dad was here from Colorado. He is smitten! While holding Rebecca he looked at her and said, "you can have whatever you want."



Matt giving her a bottle. I'll pump so Matt can give Rebecca her last feeding around 11:00. I love the extra sleep! Right now her sleeping record is 11:30-3:30- 4 hours.

4 weeks

Rebecca is one month old today!



We have had another big week.



Grandma is still here and Pops comes tomorrow!



We are working on getting Rebecca into a sleeping routine. She is doing great during the day, eating every 2-3 hours. I'm hopeful she'll soon start going for longer stretches at night. Last night she was not having it but she is only 4 weeks old.



Matt and I went on a real date. We had dinner at DePalma's (where we went on our first date almost 7 years ago).



Alabama played Ole Miss this weekend and our friends Andy and Sarah stopped by to visit before the game.



Our friend Jonathan also came over for a visit and he and Matt went to the game together.

Three Weeks

Rebecca is three weeks old today!



She is getting less and less sleepy everyday.



She loves to stretch and grunt and it takes her about five minutes to wake up from every nap.

It's been a big week.



My mom is visiting and we love having her!



Our friend, Kelsey, came by for a visit.



My 30th birthday was this week. Celebrating with Rebecca was great!



Rebecca had her two week check up. She's doing great! She was up to 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. She in the 25th percentile for weight and 75th for height. Our pediatrician decided to get her billy ruben (I just sounded that out) checked one more time. It was under 7 and her iorn is fine.

Matt's parents have come down from North Carolina to stay with us this week. It has been wonderful to have them here!

Our friends, Julia and Ashley, have also been to Tuscaloosa for a visit.



And Auntie Mary come up for a few days. We loved having her!
