Fall Festival

Rebecca!

Photo shoot after church

So cute!! This is a close as Laura would get to me

I love our neighborhood

Here we are in Mya and Zoey's most awesome tree fort

Princess Rebecca ready for bed

Laura at breakfast at McDonalds. Matt takes the girls most friday mornings and they LOVE it. Laura is getting pretty veral but will usually just say phrases instead of sentences. For example, Rebecca will say "Oma is coming over. I'm so excited!" Then Laura will say, "So excited! So excited!" One day this week the creature teacher came to their school and brought a Chinchilla. Laura got a chinchilla stamp and pointed to it as soon as I walk in the door to pick her up saying "Chinchilla, chinchilla!!" That night at super, out of no where, she said, "Chinchillas eat grass." I think it was her first sentence! My sweet little second born.

Saturday was the fall festival at church! There was cotton candy, a bounce house and crafts!

Sunday Oma and Granny Marie came over for supper. Such a beautiful weekend!

Roll Tide Y'all

Rebecca!

I got Matt tickets to the Alabama/A&M for his birthday and the game was this weekend. He said the it was awesome and he had a great time seeing everyone.

The girls and I had a great weekend! We painted pumpkins with our friends the Molesas! The girls are at the best ages. Laura is getting out of the 18-24 month scream about everything everyday phase and Rebecca is getting out of the three year old constantly testing her limits phase. Rebecca is so curious and and so cute about explaining everything. Laura is still so little that everything she does is just the cutest thing. I especially love it when makes faces like her sister does.

This weekend we also walked through leaves

Pulled the petals off my birthday flowers that were getting old (this turned out to be a huge hit)

Of coarse we went to the Children's Museum

And had a picnic at the park. So much fun!

Dixie Classic

Rebecca!

Sunnies! Monday was Laura's two year old check up. She's doing great! She's 25% for weight and 90% for height. When the doctor said this I said yikes and he looked over at us and said, "Don't worry, it's probably just hereditary."

Tuesday was my birthday! We went out to dinner at Mellow Mushroom to celebrate.

Matt did an awesome job on my birthday and surprised me with a ticket to go visit Mary Martha for the weekend. My flight out of Greensboro was canceled on Friday and I couldn't work out rearranging my trip (not cool us airways) so I didn't get to see this sweet sweetie or his mama. I'm still a little heart broken.

But this weekend was the Dixie Classic Fair!

There were goats

Hand washing after visiting goats

Giant pumpkins!

Cotton candy!!

And our friends the Robinsons! We got there super early and beat the crowd and didn't have to ride any rides. I'm pretty sure this the last year Matt and I are getting away with this.

Happy Birthday Pops

Laura!

This little sweetie had her first stomach bug this week and thankfully it only lasted one day. Poor little thing did not like getting sick and just kept asking for cheese.

Tuesday was my dad's 60th birthday! Christina and Sands came in Friday night we we all went up to Lynchburg on Saturday for a birthday celebration for my dad and his twin brother.

My mom and Aunt Kathi put on the best party! It was so much fun seeing everything and hearing all the tributes and stores. We made it a dress up party- the twins through the ages.

We even got the boys to dress up!! While my cousins wrote heartfelt letters to their dad to read for everyone we re-wrote the lyrics to the Humpty Dance for Matt to perform. And it was awesome!! Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you so much!!

Sweet Rebecca! Freeze Dance!
