Snow Days

Rebecca!

Two weeks ago we had our first snow!

Sweet girls!

Last week was Jonas! The forecast was for 8-12 inches of snow but we ended up with closer to 5 and it was pretty icey. The girls still had a blast!

There were snow angels

And sledding! Our back yard is sloped just enough for the girls to get themselves going and crash into the fence. They thought it was hilarious.

So cute! The minute Laura would get a drop of snow on her wrist she would come inside. I get it. I really don't love being cold so Matt took the girls sledding each day.

By the third day Matt just taped Laura's gloves to her jacket. :)

School and activities were canceled Friday, Saturday, Sunday. There were lots of games

And shows

And kisses

The New Year

Laura!

New Year's Eve!

Matt's old boss gave him the tickets to his suite at the Greensboro Colseium for the Avett Brother's show. So much fun!

The girls got to spend the night at Mandy's with their Oma. This is Laura's 2015 year in review. What would she do with $100? Go to the Dollar Tree!

Grocery store fun! Matt took the girls by himself while I was working. Work is crazy for us around year end. Things are slowing down for me but not for Matt. Thank you so much Oma! I have no pictures but we are so thankful for all of your help!!

We have really gotten into puzzles lately. The other night we were working on one and Rebecca told us that if I found one of the brown sidewalk pieces I should say alert, alert! Laura should say beep, beeeeeeeep and if she found one she would say yodelayheehoo. So dorky and so cute! I have a feeling this one is going to turn out just like her mama.

Sweet Laura has started calling her Lambies Lambie Booty. Not sure what that's about.

Alabama won the national championship! Matt somehow hooked the internet up to our TV so we got to watch the biased Alabama version of the game (with a Saban cam).

Both the girls had the stomach bug last week. Thankfully it didn't last long and they were back to normal after one morning of being sick. I think that was the first time Laura had chicken noodle soup. She kept saying, "This is so yum! This is so yum, Mom!"

Good morning!
