New Year

Baby Laura! I am so in love with this little cutie! She has really gotten to the next phase of baby and it is so much fun! She's grabbing her toes and kind of rolling over. She'll get up on her side then just roll back to her back. Not a fan of tummy time.
Rebecca is also as cute as ever. Little mommy on the go. Before this picture she was looking for her baby doll and called out, "Baby Two! Baby Two!" Then "Barbie Rogers! Barbie Rogers!" Apparently Barbie is now a part of our family.
Coloring. I really love this Farreh Fawcett hair.
Chick fil A! We've been here the past few weekends. This was an especially big Saturday night- the cow was there. :)
On Friday it snowed! It melted by noon but was very exciting.
We had our friends Will and Robin and Baby Charlie over for super last night. So fun! I like to think that Laura and Charlie will be married one day. If it works out they will have the longest wedding slide show ever.
My favorites :)

Christmas

Rebecca! Lately we have really been into building tall towers.
We had the best Christmas! The Saturday before we met some friends for the ECU bowl game. Mrs. Joan kept Rebecca that night we got a baby sitter for baby Laura so Matt and I could go to dinner with friends and 6th and Vine. It was so much fun!
On Sunday we went to Elkin for Christmas!
We went to the Christmas Eve service at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and got to visit with Maria and Baby Riley afterwards. Cute girls!
Then it was Christmas! Rebecca was so excited to open all of her presents (mostly hand-me downs from our friends) and to get so much sweet candy (mostly recycled from the Christmas parade).
It was just us in Elkin for Christmas and really kind of awesome. So laid back and so fun.
Seriously, this is the best picture I could get on Christmas. How do people get good pictures of their entire families? I don't understand.
That afternoon we went to Granny Marie's for the most delicious breakfast for dinner and more presents. I wish I'd gotten some pictures there.
All the cousins!! The next weekend we had everyone over to our house for Christmas round two.
Total chaos. And we loved it.
Mandy, Maria, Baby Riley.
Camden!
Ira and Granny Marie.
Hot chocolate on New Year's Eve. All of our friends came over for the NC State bowl game that day. I wish I had gotten more pictures (this seems to be the theme of my blog). I guess because of all of our company Rebecca started calling us Annie Rogers and Uncle Matt. :)
Anyways, that night was the Avett Brothers! Ira (MVP of the weekend) drove us all to Greensboro in reality show super star Jarrett Joyce's short bus for the show. They are so musical and put on such a great show! All different sized white balloons fell down at midnight- it was like the movies.
Sweet, sweet girls.
