Power Outage

Rebecca!

Sweet girl has had a rough time. She had a virus that just seemed to last forever.

She's finally started to feel better. This weekend I told her when her nose itched it meant someone was thinking of her. A little bit later she came up to me and said, "Mama that is not true. I just sat down beside Laura and thought about her and she did not scratch her nose." Cutie.

The picture Laura drew of herself when she is very angry. Accurate.

Here she is today for Wacky Wednesday, Dr. Seuss's birthday celebration at school. This was definitely Laura's time to shine.

"Mom! See how tall I am compared to this tree!"

Last week we had a big storm and lost power. There were so many games and puzzles and dance shows. By the second day we went to Yadkinville to stay with Matt's mom. Thank you Oma!! The power came back on at 9pm that night and I wasn't here to check on any of our food before it froze back so it all had to go. I'd made so many healthy freezer meals it was a little heart breaking. And power was out at daycare so it was closed and Matt was working in Portland that week. Cray.

What else? We had Oma and Granny Maire down for a visit

Discovered a new park

Had the Brown girls over for a visit - and got to meet their new baby brother Wyatt!

Cheese!
