Minnesota

Rebecca and Owen!

This weekend we went to Minnesota!!

So good to see these girls!

Of coarse we went to the Minnesota State Fair- the best and cleanest fair in America

Best buddies!

We rode tons of rides

And saw the Okie Dokie Brothers show!

They sing a song about a train and made a big deal about choosing a kid from the audience to lead the "train" of kids. Everyone got in a line and right before they started marching Rebecca just got in front whoever they chose so she could be the line leader. Little Matt Rogers.

Before we left for Minnesota Matt and I went to the Winston-Salem Open. It was really fun!

And Rebecca got her first stomach bug. Bless her heart. She was only sick for one morning but she did not know what was happening. She's almost four and she hadn't thrown up before.

Camporee

Laura! This is the face she now makes make she says cheese- haha!

Camp! Last weekend we went up to Raven Knob. Matt's been so busy with work we didn't spend the night this year but loved swimming and visiting with everyone for the day.

Elsa and Anna! This weekend the Combs came up for a sleepover. So much fun!

This weekend we also got a membership to the children's museum. I love that place!

And had breakfast at IHOP!

Sweet Becca! The other night I was laying in her bed and she rolled over and lovingly said, "Mama, you have golden teeth". She's too kind.

Destin

Laura!

Destin!! The soft, white sand and clear, calm water- I love it so much!

The girls definitely prefered the pool. We went down to visit Christina and Sands and my parents came too. So fun!

We stayed on the Harbor. Gorgeous.

While we were there we got to celebrate Jim's second birthday. How cute is this little boy?!! I can hear him saying, "Thank you, Annie" as I type this. Such a sweetie!

Birthday party bubbles!

One day we went to Boshamp's for lunch. It was great! And seriously, how cute is baby Jim?

Cousins! I just love this picture because you can see Rebecca's awesome dance moves in it.

Hilarious. Since we got back from the beach this crazy baby has really started talking. Instead of saying no she says no way. It is so cute to me. I don't know where she would have learned this.

Thanks so much for having us, Christina and Sands! We had the best time!

Pole Vaulting

Laura!

Last Sunday we went to the Children's Museum. I love that place!

Rebecca! The other day Matt told Rebecca she was so big and I said she would just keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger. She said, "So, big like a giant or big like you?"

Sweetie. This lucky girl got to go to the beach with Matt's mom and Mandy and Maria. She had the best time! I asked her what the best part was and she said Camden and Alison. When she got back I was making super and she asked what we had the night before when she was gone. I said stuffed peppers and she said, "Well, it's a good thing you had that while I was at the beach because I don't like stuffed peppers at all." Glad that worked out.

Brushing teeth. Somehow Laura put this filter on Matt's phone so he's been taking artistic pictures all week.

This weekend there was a pole vaulting competition downtown. We brought the girls down there for a treat and ended up staying all afternoon. It was so cool!

Oma came over this afternoon and we grilled out. I tried to get a good picture but there were ice cream sandwiches.

Deutschland, Deutschland, Deutschland! We're pretty excited about Germany's big win today. Whenever Laura rides on Matt's shoulders she's use her hands to turn his head in the direction she thinks he needs to be going.

Anniversary, Blueberries and the Fourth of July

Laura!

Last weekend we met the Anders at Headacres Farm to pick blueberries. So delicious! I think Laura ate her weight in blueberries that day.

There were fainting goats- so gentle and so cute.

Last week was VBS at Epiphany and I got to meet Rebecca for the pizza party on Friday. On the way home she said, "Well, Jesus week is over."

Popsicles! I'm not sure what they're looking at but Laura kind of looks like Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

Here she is looking sweet. Matt's mom and sister and her family came to stay with us over the Fourth of July. It was so great to see everyone!

Fireworks crafts!

Cousins! On Thursday everyone came over for dinner. The kids were eating in the den and Laura pushed sweet Riley out of her chair. The adults looked in to see what the commotion was and Camden said, "Baby versus baby!" Hilarious.

Friday night we went to the Dash game. It was so much fun! The kids were so good and the weather was perfect.

Rebecca! We got on the big screen a lot in all of our patriotic gear.

This week was also our nine year wedding anniversary! Here we are on our honeymoon. Babies. Happy Anniversary, Matt! I love you to the max!!
