Welcome baby Jim!
Christina had her baby Tuesday! He was born at 12:59 pm and weighted 7 lbs, 12 oz. 21" long. We are in love!!! I am dying to hold this precious baby boy. Matt set up baby pools for Christina and me (www.lauralouise.babypool.com). Of coarse he did. My dad won Christina's, which is appropriate since Jim is his name sake. :)

We spent last weekend potty training. We're tried this getting rid of all diapers/pull ups, give your child tons to drink and rush them to their potty every time they pee. It was exhausting. And while I wouldn't say Rebecca was potty trained in three days I do think it was a good way to get things started. They have continued to work with her at school and she is doing great. This weekend she was in the bathroom with me and heard me peeing. She stopped and her eye got big and she clapped her hands and said yea, mommy, yea!! It was so cute! That must be exactly what I look like when she uses her potty.

Mandy and her kids are visitng from Texas so we spent the weekend in Elkin. Fresh Beat Band in the big bed. It doesn't get any better than this!
This weekend we also had a baby shower for Maria. She is due 14 days after I am. Babies everywhere! We can't wait to meet Riley Rae!!
On Sunday my Aunt Anne, Cousin Laura and Granny came down for a visit. It was so much fun! Rebecca loved all the attention. She calls Anne Aunt Oma. :)
Rebecca is getting so big! She's saying more and more words and starting to mimick everything we do. We have some work to do on colors. Whenever we ask her what color something is she says yellow. She looks really smart when I point to yellow things. The other day we were coloring and I asked her what letter I had drawn. She said yellow.
Her future's so bright, she's gotta wear shades.
