12 Weeks

Rebecca at 12 weeks!



Before we left for our trip we met some of Matt's professors and friends from school for happy hour at Innis Free.



Rebecca and Kelsey- Rebecca did great! She is so laid back.

On Friday we packed up an insane amount of baby gear and headed out. Our first stop was in Birmingham (to break up the trip? :)). We stayed with our friend, Chris and our friends Andy and Sarah came over for dinner.



"Where's the baby?!" Chris has the best baby voice ever, it's like he's channeling his mother-in-law.



Merry Christmas from the Nicholson's! Since we left on the 10th we didn't put up any Christmas decorations at our house.

On Saturday we hit the road for Mooresville, NC. We stopped several time to feed Rebecca and play with her for a while. When she is in the car she sleeps.

We stayed with our friends, Mat and Kelly and our friends Jon and Amber and their little girl, Isabelle came over, too. Isabelle is about 6 months older than Rebecca and adorable!



Some of Mat and Kelly's neighbors came over to watch the girls while we ate dinner. So nice! And our friend Nick stopped by later on.



The highlight of the night! After 6 years of asking Mat Benton if I could straighten his his hair, he finally said yes!



And don't worry, when I got done straightening it, I french braided it.

The next day we made our way to Elkin, NC to stay with Matt's parents for two days before heading to Virginia.



Oma and Rebecca
